Richmond Surge is an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU)basketball organization located in Chesterfield County, Virginia. We operate under the Greater Richmond Youth Development Association (GRYDA),  501 © 3 non-profit organization. Our membership is concentrated in the northwestern section of the county, where most of our practices and many of our events are held.

    The Richmond Surge program enables young boys and girls to improve their basketball skills through teamwork and individual development. Our goal is to increase ability and build self-confidence. Richmond Surge is always looking for players who are dedicated and hardworking.

     It is the philosophy of the Richmond Surge organization that competition should be combined with fairness, integrity and an emphasis on the individual player. We believe this combination prepares our youth to win on the court and in life.
